Our Etsy Party Box is finally here!!

Last Friday we had our Etsy birthday party with out our box. It was stuck in customs! Now it's finally here! You might think that now is useless but oooh no! It couldn't come in better time! Because in 2 weeks the etsy Greek street team is having a bazaar in Poros! And we are going to use all out gifts! :) So, lets see what's inside! So here we have: - balloons - gigantic chalks - "do you speak etsy: cards - fabric etsy bags - a bottle of wine - jello candies - one melted chocolate - decorative festoons - 2 paper lanterns Will be fan! See you there! :)

Etsy's Birthday Craft Party in Athens, Greece.

Crafting on a terrace overlooking the city of Athens on a warm summer night....does it get any better than this? Sure!! If you are crafting with friends in a get together to celebrate Etsy's birthday with drinks!!! The party was held at Psarokokalo's place! Each guest brought their craft materials! We had everything from buttons to felt and from sea-shells to crochet needles, it was a crafter's heaven! A marmble table was transformed in a long workbench and we began our project for the night soon after the sunset.... We decided to make an Etsy sing for the Berlin office, and sent it over of course. From what we have seen in the Virtual Labs with Matt and Benedikta, the only sing there right now is a printed paper, stuck on the door with tape! It's about time to have something more official, don't you think? Later in the afternoon we had to abandon our idillic location due to some un-forseen raindrops but it was ok since most of the work was done..

The "ten images of Ithaka" is an annual international poster competition of the island of Ithaca, Greece. This years theme is "Labels". Ten Images for Ithaca, for the first time, gives the opportunity to the audience to select its favorite poster, among the 142 shortlisted posters as voted by the jury. The posted image is made by Faidra and is one of my favorites! Please vote for her here!

Etsy Craft Party!

Ένα απο αυτά θα γίνει και στην Αθήνα από την ελληνική ομάδα του etsy! Τα 50 πρώτα με τη μεγαλύτερη συμμετοχή κόσμου θα τύχουν ιδιαίτερης προσοχής από το etsy, πράγμα που πολύ το θέλουμε!
